MCS

Designed for the needs of contract electronics manufacture, MCS allows you to effectively manage the production environment. Being intranet based, MCS is simplicity itself to deploy, requiring no client installations.

Define customers, products and assemblies hierarchies. Specify how you want to serial numbers to be generated and store barcode templates for producing labels when required within your specified build processes, complete with step-by-step instructions for your factory operators.

The SFDC (Shop Floor Data Collection) module allows multiple operators to be involved in the build process. Each action adds to the unit's history which is compiled for every unit and is then available for Returns Handling onwards, this includes recording of production test results if desired.

MCS determines the unit's first Stock Bin location within the Warehouses - Stockrooms - Bins hierarchy based on criteria setup by the Stock Controller, automatically opening and closing bins based on a week-rotation FIFO. Thereafter units may be moved as required or aggregated into multi-packs prior to assignment to despatch needs.

Despatch Notes can be created manually, or automatically in response to OEM customer emails, followed by MCS automatically generating Pick Lists and printing them for fulfillment. This allows contract manufacturers to add value in the warehousing and distribution chain.

Thereafter the Despatch Manager will update status as appropriate, including adding courier tracking URLs if available. Optionally selected information may be made available on OEM customer extranet if desired.
