Vizola Technology Announces Sale of CORA to MCI
Key points:
- MCI streamlines employee services
- Empowers users with self service approach
- Improves quality of service and reduces admin costs
Oxford 15th June 2002. MCI, second
largest global telecoms provider, has taken Vizola's CORA product
to enable employee self-service conference room booking across the EMEA
region.
CORA is integrated within MCI's
corporate portal which is the basis for its B2E (business to employee) communications, and
allows logged in users transparent access to a personalised workspace offering reservation
facilities for conference rooms, pool equipment and other
bookable items in any of MCI's buildings.
The system is also used for ordering business lunches and
refreshments from a changing menu in order to maximise available
meeting time.
Chris Cohen, Vizola's MD comments: "We are very pleased in
be associated with MCI in this venture. CORA is an innovative
approach to the problem, until now conventional wisdom dictated
using dedicated booking teams to manage requests. This is becoming
an outdated luxury which doesn't even guarantee a better quality-of
service. Users like to be in direct control - with immediate
feedback - not frustrated by lunch breaks and booking queues."
