Orion commisions new sales order and purchasing system "Built-on-BCA"

Oxford 13th May 2004. Plastics moulding and finishing specialist Orion Industries has recently completed integrating a new sales and purchasing system, developed by Vizola, into their business.

This replaces an aging DOS-based system which needed to be heavily supported by complex spreadsheets, requiring continuous updating in order to provide management reporting information.

Ease of deployment (browser-based) and a flexible security model were also important factors in deciding on the Vizola system. Different individuals or groups of  personnel in the organisation see exactly the right menu options in order to perform their particular day-to-day tasks.
