VEM Content Filtering

This feature allows you to filter the content in your email or templated-page depending on the recipient's membership of specified marketing lists....

It works like this :-

Using the VEM Template Editor, you utilise a tabular layout and ensure that your desired optional content is enclosed within a cell...

Next choose [Filter member content]  and specify one or more lists whose members should see this content.

Now when your contact views the VEM-rendered email or templated-page the optional content will only be there if they have membership of the appropriate list.

That's it!

VEM renders the page, checking recipient list-membership and removes optional content where no membership is found.

This feature can be also used to complement other VEM mark-up, particularly the subscriptions feature...

UpShorten or de-clutter newsletters: How many times have you received a generic newsletter whose content comprises 20% of interest and 80% clutter? This feature allows you to use your knowledge of your recipient to fine-tune the newsletter content. For example if a particular reader is only interested in skiing in France - just send details of French holiday offers.

UpOther VEM mark-up: You can add all the other VEM mark-up types to this template... So, for example, you can add selected monitored links to track click-thrus, depending on interests. See the other VEM pages to find out more.
